Orangetheory Fitness is a globally recognized, science-backed, technology-tracked group fitness franchise with over 1,500 studios worldwide and nearly one million members.Their unique, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) model is centered on heart-rate-based performance metrics to help members live “longer, more vibrant lives.” As a rapidly growing, franchised business, the challenge was to create a modern, scalable, and conversion-focused digital ecosystem that served both national brand consistency and hyper-local studio needs.
Task
The comprehensive digital project for Orangetheory Fitness focused on modernizing the core digital infrastructure by migrating to a scalable tech stack (ReactJS/Webflow), which facilitated the development of a centralized yet hyper-local platform for managing over 1,500 franchise sites. Concurrently, UI/UX design efforts streamlined the customer journey by redesigning the mobile app’s onboarding and class booking flows, significantly improving conversion rates. Finally, a targeted SEO strategy leveraging hyperlocal optimization and science-backed content led to a 104% surge in organic traffic and substantial growth in new studio leads.
